Found Object Sculptures

Pod’s absolute favorite art medium is working with found objects. She enjoys the concept of taking something old and used and finding a new purpose for it. She often wonders what stories the objects she finds could tell her about their past.

Her upcycled flowers were the first idea she had during the pandemic. It was springtime, She was longing to see flowers or any sign of positive hope for the future, but all around her was trash and dirty needles, and so the flowers bloomed.

Since then shes created several found object box sculptures for art events including her Andy Wahol Altar, and a tribute piece to the NYC nightlife scene.

Currently her syringe crown liberty sculpture is on display at HEKATE 167 Ave B East Village NYC.
